warehouse gets girly

Yesterday Warehouse previewed they’re upcoming Summer collection to the Irish press. Whether you are hitting the beach or strolling around a city for your summer va-ca, this collection will answer your prayers.

Colourful prints, contrasting with blocks of white with some soft shades like turquoise thrown in, I fell for the range of trends and styles which will suit everyone. Chatting to PR and Marketing Director, Lorraine Pringle, warehouse wanted to not only hit the key trends on the catwalk but do so in a way that the warehouse girl can build a capsule wardrobe with key pieces for the new season. Lorraine’s favourite was the white suit, very Bianca Jagger which makes you want to relive the Studio 54 era! But it’s a nice alternative for the office too!

Maxis are everywhere and I like this great floral print one, it’s so Erdem. And to hit my desire for some colour, this bright yellow dress is an OMG piece. I reckon this dress could also last you to Winter, worn with some black tights, nice coat and flat pumps and accessorise with a beret, you can transform Summer fashion into Winter wonderful.

The collection has started to hit the stores now and will continue to do so over the summer!

If you want to see the full collection, stay tuned to www.stylenation.ie where I get a closer look!

stylenation- cross dressing????

Wanna make the perfect look using a LBD? On stylenation this week, I take a great dress from J by Jasper Conran at Debenhams and create four looks!

Plus check out the stylenation must have from Awear!

stylenation news – keep up to speed with the latest….

Here’s my latest news for stylenation!

stylenation – serving you the latest news!

I have just wrapped up filming my first show for http://www.stylenation.ie and it was a blast!

If you wanna stay on top of what is going on the fashion world, between styleisle and stylenation, you won’t miss a thing!

Coming up, I take viewers through four looks using just one dress! Investing in one piece and adding a jacket here and an accessory there can transform your style for every time of the day, from the office to the club to tear up the rug. And none of it will make your wallet upset, I promise. As this budget lark takes over the news this week, your wardrobe doesn’t have to suffer. Getting together a great capsule wardrobe that you can build up over time is the way to go. And there is no other item like a black dress to get you going.

Plus, the stylenation must have is an amazing cardigan from Awear which I just fell for while filming. And again, none to pricey.

You will also be able to hear my little voice giving you the up to date news from the fashion world. Much more interesting than the real news. And will definitely make you smile when you watch it! Move over Ann Doyle, I’m here now! Hmmmm… now there’s a thought, a fashion report on Six One! Hello Mr. RTE, I have an idea for you…..

So much on, so little time.

So I finally get to sit down and do a little blogging. I had to remind myself today that I still have a blog and a website to run! I have had a whirlwind of a week but every second of it has been magical.

Wednesday saw the eagerly awaited launch of Fade Street at Dakota, which, in a lot of ways, is the Irish version of the Hills. As an aside, it was my inaugural presenting gig for stylenation. Up close among the action, I got to chat to Dani, Cici, Vogue and Louise about filming the show and what we can expect. These four girls are different in character but equally lovely and delightful to interview. All clad in black, they struck their best pose, and smiled away for the admiring paps and guests who wanted a piece of the action. I also had the chance to do some style spotting and chat to some of the faboo guests about their stylish attire whilst listening to Cork band, J90, rock it out.

Moving onto Thursday, Dundrum held the well publicised Shop and Rock event, combining two of my favourite things, shopping and music. I got dressed up, (poured myself into leather leggings and all!) and it was worth it as the lovely Angela Scanlon approached me to enter the most stylish competition hosted by BT2. No success to report there but the lucky winner did win at €500 voucher!

Now Friday night was exciting! The fashion glitterati (including me and Mark Andrew of course) were out in force to open Forever 21. Yes, it’s here. No need to pay for a flight to the States anymore. I had a ball chatting to stylist Maria Fusco, Off the Rails’ Brendan Courtney and fashionista Virginia Macari. And MTVs (and Bray’s) finest Laura Whitmore was on the decks spinning the tunes!  But the icing on the cake was interviewing the beautiful Amber le Bon for stylenation (my first big interview on camera!). Amber has been enlisted as the face of the European campaign and it was hard to avoid her stunning images throughout the store. We had a great chat, from why women carry handbags which contain our lives around with us to how cute the childrens clothes are! Amber also pointed out to me in which images you might be able to see her nose stud! I asked her all about her personal style and whether her catwalk queen mum, Yasmine, has passed down career advice. “Be nice” is the golden rule according to mum. You can see the whole interview on stylenation coming soon!!!!!

Then, I spent Sunday in Zuku by KSO filming a little snippet soon to be seen on Xposé and Kildare TV.

And now I am pretty wrecked but have loads of fun stuff planned, like a shoot for Willow shot by the fab Maria McGrail and making a pilot for stylenation, so I’ll be kept busy!

Here are some of the memories of the week that was….
