Ok I love this shirt from Penneys. I wore it again to the 2nd anniversary party for Rockstar Tan (and the filming of Fade Street). I can’t believe it cost so little, and so I headed back to Penneys to pick up this pleated leather mini skirt (€15). I was going to wear heels but opted for the flats instead. See I had bought this shirt for my vintage outfit, but by matching it with the leather skirt, it becomes a bit edgier.
In the pic with me is the very lovely Corina Gaffey (fashion editor of Stellar Magazine!), who always looks amazing (how gorge is her jacket?)
Thanks to RTE Player for the image!
I’ve been asked to contribute to an amazing project over the next few weeks which I am unbelievably excited about (more details to follow I promise!) and in preparation I had to do a little photoshoot street-style! So I enlisted the help of the incredibly talented photographer Richie Stokes to help me out. Shot in the leafy and lovely Dublin suberb, Ranelagh, the pics take in just what I want my style to depict right now – casual chic (I will proudly say that I am attempting Parisien monochrome chic!).
It’s amazing how light, background and a little tilt of the head can transform the shot into something amazing and I got thrown right back to my modelling days. It’s a bit strange being in front of a camera again but once I had a few shots down, I relaxed into it and I am really happy with the outcome.

Tomorrow is a very special day in the Emerald Isle and if you want to get in the mood for St. Patrick’s Day, here are some ideas to go green!
palazzo pants, Penneys
Dress, TK Maxx
Maxi Dress, Monsoon
Mini Dress, Untold at House of Fraser
I left the house this morning feeling pretty confident that I looked nice wearing the following:
1) Leggings by Charlotte Ronson
2) Black vest from Awear
3) Black drape cotton cardi from JC Penney (US)
4) Thigh high black suede boots (a purchase in Venice last year, I knew they were a good investment)
5) Khaki Green military style 3/4 length coat from Penneys
6) Animal print beret from H&M
So off I went on my merry little way to the Dublin Festival of Fashion for a day of style and new fashion ideas. Little did I know it would lead to another great fashion victory (after the win at Cork Fashion Week). I wondered over the to the Ilac centre to take in the catwalk shows and have a meander around Debenhams (I needed to replace my bottle of Chanel Particulaire nail varnish). I was approached by a very nice young lady who asked me if I would like to enter the best dressed lady competition. Well I don’t mind if I do.
Low and behold at 3pm, the dynamic fashion duo, Sonya Lennon and Brendan Courtney announce me as the winner. Yay me and the coat from Penneys! I got a lovely prize and of course a great pic with two of my fav people in Irish fashion!
