Today I’m wearing – Monochrome!

I’ve been asked to contribute to an amazing project over the next few weeks which I am unbelievably excited about (more details to follow I promise!) and in preparation I had to do a little photoshoot street-style! So I enlisted the help of the incredibly talented photographer Richie Stokes to help me out. Shot in the leafy and lovely Dublin suberb, Ranelagh, the pics take in just what I want my style to depict right now – casual chic (I will proudly say that I am attempting Parisien monochrome chic!).

It’s amazing how light, background and a little tilt of the head can transform the shot into something amazing and I got thrown right back to my modelling days. It’s a bit strange being in front of a camera again but once I had a few shots down, I relaxed into it and I am really happy with the outcome.

Hello Heidi

I think this might be my outfit of the week. Classic and elegant, Heidi does this look justice. Love the cropped pants, bringing in a little summer trend there and of course the sky scraper Posh-would-be-jealous heels, this just works. Me loves it.

Nancy Van Ostren

Nancy Van Ostren is a flamboyant new designer that is exhibiting at fashion week for this first time this year. Having learned the ropes of fashion at Burberry, Zandra Rhodes and Jasper Conran, Nancy has graduated to her own label.

The shapes, colours, symmetry and futuristic look of the collection is eye catching and funky.

I love the combination of the monochrome and bright pink (below).

Fashionistas, check out this link http://nymag.com/daily/fashion/2010/06/resort_favorites.html#photo=2

It’s a summary on nymag of all the hot trends from the Resort ’11 collection.

Monochrome is so there (for some reason I predict that this will always be a catwalk trend and I am so right again), Stella, Pheobe (at Celine) and Karl (at Chanel) are all in the B&W and it’s so chic. It’s a staple pattern and suits everyone. Me loves it.

PS Celine have one amayonazing jumpsuit.  In the words of Rhianna, I want want want.
