I’ve been asked to contribute to an amazing project over the next few weeks which I am unbelievably excited about (more details to follow I promise!) and in preparation I had to do a little photoshoot street-style! So I enlisted the help of the incredibly talented photographer Richie Stokes to help me out. Shot in the leafy and lovely Dublin suberb, Ranelagh, the pics take in just what I want my style to depict right now – casual chic (I will proudly say that I am attempting Parisien monochrome chic!).
It’s amazing how light, background and a little tilt of the head can transform the shot into something amazing and I got thrown right back to my modelling days. It’s a bit strange being in front of a camera again but once I had a few shots down, I relaxed into it and I am really happy with the outcome.
Top – Penneys
Pants – Awear (last year!)
Shoes – Zara (look like YSL Tributes but they’re not!)
Hat – H&M
Make up – Estée Lauder Double wear foundation, concealer and press powder; eye shadows from new season palettes available from Sephora; lipstick from new Italian brand Kiko Milan, mascara Maybelline.

I’ve taken advice from someone close to me that for a long time I should have been video blogging as well as writing, well here you go. On my holidays and a well deserved bit of R&R, I have started to document through the medium of video the looks I put together whether its to hit some trends or just some experimenting with my look.
This video can be seen in full over on my You Tube channel or here if you prefer to have a read of the blog while you are here. The look today is edgy with some layering, faux fur and accessorising with my new obsession, hats. Have a look and leave me a comment with your thoughts!

I love hats. So much so that I change my hats each Winter. I tend not to carry them over. Hats are personal and make or break an outfit. Example. Today I wore I huge faux fur hat to work. Yes I walked through the office with my faux fur lid upon my crown. I was toasty.
Today's lid comes from River Island
Given that it is officially Baltic outside, it is appropriately timed that my fascination with hatas is in Alannah Gallagher’s Weekly Edit!
Take a look, it’s a brilliant site!
