If you’re around this week….

Time to face facts. Black is NOT slimming. Baby Pink only
looks good on babies and YES some stripes will make your
bum look big…

Find out what is fashion fact or fashion fiction at the 2nd
annual Style Clonmel Festival from 7th-17th October when
style gets serious.

If you’re not a style icon don’t despair; catch the jaw-
dropping results of Total Transformation on 8th October, as
six contestants emerge transformed and learn the tips and
tricks for your own makeover.

This is an evening of glamour and sophistication with a
1950’s theme with prizes for the Best 1950’s Inspired Look,
Most Fabulous Shoes and Best Accessorised.

Throughout the evening the team of beauty, hair and style
experts will treat lucky members of the audience to mini top-
to-toe makeovers; show how to makeover that old favourite
– the little black dress and how to pick the perfect pair of
glasses for your face shape.

Favourites from last year return including current fashion
trends that will suit your body type, bra fittings, finding the
perfect pair of jeans and show you once and for all “why black
is NOT slimming”.

That’s just part of the ten day fashion extravaganza, a unique
collaboration between most of the town’s business people to
help promote Clonmel as the south east’s leading shopping
destination.

The Style Clonmel Festival has all the frills and thrills to
satisfy any fashionista, with the highlight being the Iconic

Fashion Show on 15th October.
The Iconic Fashion Show previews this season’s essential
items for any Irish fashion queen. Many of Irelands top
models will showcase the best of what the south east has to
offer.

The fashion foray doesn’t end there. A style “spotter” will
be on the streets of Clonmel everyday of the festival to give
prizes to people dressed with a bit of panache. The winner
will be crowned fashion queen at the Iconic Fashion Show.

Family Style Day is on 9th October with games, balloons and
face painting for the kids. And of course a fashion show!

Teens that are too cool for family day can go along on 14
October to their own special funky event where music, beauty
and fashion could bring some unexpected style changes…

A photography exhibition titled ‘Focused on Fashion’ runs in
The Narrow Space; Clonmel throughout the festival and with
free admission is not to be missed,

If you’ve a passion for fashion then you can’t afford to miss
the Style Clonmel Festival, 7th – 17th October, where the latest
designs from high street to high end are waiting to be found.
